Welcome
Wednesday, October 26
This is the last day of the season.
Thanks for a great year. We reopen May 1st, 2012.
It’s only a ten minute drive across Wolfe Island to catch Horne’s Ferry to the US then it’s a 10 minute ferry ride across the St.Lawrence River to a pretty and historical little village called Cape Vincent. You are now only a 25 minute drive from Watertown and Fort Drum.
Oh! and this route also comes with a warning! Its a very picturesque crossing! so don’t forget your camera!
If you are coming from Watertown or Fort Drum this is the easiest and most direct route into the heart of Kingston. This route also lets you take advantage of the free parking on Wolfe Island.
The Wolfe Island ferries are the gateway to the beautiful and historic downtown core of this waterfront city. This is where you will find Kingston’s finest restaurants, shops and bars.
Take Horne’s Ferry from Cape Vincent to Wolfe Island, drive across the Island and then park your car before walking onto the ferry to Kingston.
There is plenty of free parking at the Sacred Heart Church parking lot. Sacred Heart Church is the large stone church located on the left hand side of the road just before you enter the village of Marysville. It is about a 5 minute walk from the ferry to Kingston.
